Review: The best bits in this are scrabbled from the 1996 special “Boo to You: Winnie the Pooh”. It’s remarkable how much more imaginative the visuals are, how springier the animation is, and how much more inventive the colors are in the outsourced-to-the-Phillipines-and-Thailand segment is. This bit also heavily features Winnie and Piglet as the main narrative forces which is as it should be. They’re who we’re here to see, right? The rest of the film is centered instead around the relationship between Roo and the British Heffalump boi from the movie immediately preceding this one.
