Announcing 31 Days of Halloween Project

Salutations reader and welcome to my 31 Days of Halloween movie blog!

I’ve been a horror cinephile and Halloween aficionado most my life, and this year to celebrate I’m doing one of those old-fangled count-downs where every day I watch and post about a film I hadn’t seen before!

I’ll name the makers and the top 8 MVPS from the cast (imho), detail the plot, give a creative writing response, analyze themes and provide context (to my ability), keep a running tally of monsters and other fun elements, and score each film based on Autumnal Vibes, Spooks & Chills, Cinematic & Cultural Importance and Monster Action!

I’ll also give some suggestions for other films I think you might like if you like the film of the day and reveal a brand new drawing that the film inspired in me!

Not every film will be Horror (though some may be more Horror than you’d even like!), but I hope all will have that indispensable je ne sais quoi of Halloween.
